Check out this famous example of a joke paper:

Upper D. The unsuccessful self-treatment of a case of "writer's block". J Appl Behav Anal. 1974 Fall;7(3):497. doi: 10.1901/jaba.1974.7-497a. PMID: 16795475; PMCID: PMC1311997.

Thanks - and yes, lots of inspiration here. All I need now is a legit journal to offer to publish it 😊

If it is "digital only" and "open access," it doesn't cost them much: https://www.tandfonline.com/journals/tpai20

“Academic institutions are still treating AI use as binary when its actually become infrastructural.” (From the comments). Brilliant. I am grappling with policies for doctoral training right now. What are we to do? None of the AI use in this paper was of the “written by Gen AI” variety (just one word!) so it would pass any policy prohibiting use of Gen AI to write the thesis or dissertation.

LOL! Finally a paper that even Reviewer 2 must have liked :) Thanks for sharing the pdf.

I was secretly hoping for a R2 "revise and resubmit" so I could have changed the "No." to "Mostly no." 😁
